How We Support You

Each year the Union runs a calendar of events that bring our community together โ€“ from the Annual Dinner and Ignatian Challenge Cup golf outing to class reunions, table quizzes and informal social evenings.

CUSP is an initiative of the Union to assist past pupils or staff who may need support and advice at a time of personal, health or career difficulty. A panel of professional past pupils offer confidential guidance on a voluntary basis.

Since its relaunch, the Union has supported Crescent College Comprehensive through Transition Year work placements, a literary competition for third year students and career talks, work experience and international placements.

Upcoming Events

Our events are a chance to reconnect with classmates, meet past pupils from other years and support Crescent College Comprehensive and its students. Upcoming Events will be listed here with links to booking and event reports.

Life-Changing Medical Research

Crescent Past Pupil Advocates for Life-Changing Medical Research on Capitol Hill The Crescent College Past Pupils Union is delighted to see past pupil Donald McDonnell representing ยป

Crescent Past Pupil Trevor Morriss class of 1987 pictured with @johnmoranlimerick at the Paddle for Parkinsonโ€™s official launch ๐ŸŒ™ ๐Ÿšค

Paddle for Parkinsonโ€™s:
โ€œThis June (June 12th to 21st), my friend Mike Oโ€™Sullivan and I are launching a long-held ambition: navigating the River Shannon from source to sea. Starting in Co. Cavan, we face 10 days of gruelling canoeing and camping at the mercy of the elements. Will we make it? It will be a true test of endurance.

I am taking this opportunity to raise vital funds for @parkinsonsire Midwest Branch. Throughout every mile, I will be thinking of my mom and the many people I know fighting this condition. They face a daily battle with immense courage, truly taking life one day at a time.

Please donate to support our journey. Every euro raised helps the Midwest Branch of Parkinsonโ€™s Ireland provide essential services and support networks for people living with Parkinsonโ€™s, their families and their carers.โ€

News & Stories from Crescent Alumni

Our Jesuit Heritage

Crescent College has held a special place in Limerick life since 1859. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition, the school has educated generations of students at Sacred Heart College in the Crescent and later at Crescent College Comprehensive in Dooradoyle. Jesuit education focuses on forming people of conscience, competence and compassion, and that spirit continues to shape our past pupil community today.
